BrokerBlocker.ae Terms and Conditions 

Effective Date: 28th of March 2024 

1. Introduction 
Welcome to BrokerBlocker.ae! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BrokerBlocker.ae mobile application (the "App") also known as BrockerBlocker and BrokerBlocker.ae UAE. By downloading and using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not download or use the App. 

2. User Accounts 
 

• You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the App. 
  
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password. 
  
• You agree to be responsible for all activities that occur under your account. 
  
• You agree to notify BrokerBlocker immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

3. User Data Collection and Use 
 

• BrokerBlocker collects certain information when you use the App. This information includes: 
  

1. Device information (public IP address, device token, nature of the device, operating system, app version) 
   
2. Phone number (for user account creation, verification, and identification) 
   
3. Email address (for password resets and communication) 
   
4. Caller IDs of callers manually reported as spam by the user (from call logs) 
   

• We use this information to: 
  

1. Provide and improve the App's functionality 
   
2. Offer, maintain, enhance, analyze, and personalize the Services to our Users 
   
3. Provide call blocking functionality by matching callers against our database of reported spammers 
   
4. Allow users to manually report or whitelist callers 
   
5. Send in-application push notifications and reminders 
   
6. Improve our Services, business, and operations 
   
7. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements 
   

• We will not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose your information in the following circumstances: 
  

1. To service providers who help us operate the App and provide our services. These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information. 
   
2. To comply with legal or regulatory requirements, such as a court order or subpoena. 
   
3. To investigate or prevent potential wrongdoing, such as fraud or abuse. 
   

• You can access, update, or delete your information by contacting us at support@brokerblocker.ae. You can also opt out of receiving push notifications by changing your device settings. 
  

4. Call Log Access 
 

• BrokerBlocker does not access or upload your entire call log. 
  
• We only access your call log under the following circumstances: 
  

1. To allow you to whitelist phone numbers. 
   
2. To scan incoming calls against our database of spam numbers for blocking purposes. 
   
3. When you manually report a phone number as spam. In this case, we only collect the reported spam caller ID. 
   

• We collect this information to improve your experience with spam call reporting and blocking. 
  

5. Account Deletion 
You have the right to delete your account and all associated information at any time. You can do this by: 
 

• Using the in-app delete feature. 
  
• Visiting https://www.brokerblocker.ae/delete-account 
  

6. Third-Party Services 
The App may integrate with third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to the terms and conditions of those third parties. 
 

7. Disclaimers 
 

• BrokerBlocker does not guarantee the accuracy of the information provided by the App. You should use the information for research purposes only. 
  
• The App may be interrupted during server outages and maintenance. 
  
• BrokerBlocker is not responsible for any financial or physical loss caused by inaccuracies of the data or service outages. 
  
• The blocking service may not work effectively in all situations. BrokerBlocker is not liable for any consequences of calls going through. 
  

8. Limitation of Liability 
BrokerBlocker is not liable for any damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. 
 

9. Indemnification 
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BrokerBlocker, its employees, partners, affiliates, and licensors from any claim or demand made by a third party due to or arising out of your use of the App. 
 

10. Termination 
BrokerBlocker may terminate your access to the App for any reason, at any time, without notice. 
 

11. Changes to these Terms 
BrokerBlocker may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on the App. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes. 
 

12. Governing Law 
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Dubai Courts.
